The use of liposuction and plastic surgery for weight problems.
Liposuction is solely justified in
cases of dystrophy (The presence of a cluster of fat in a given area
of the body). It is particularly efficient on the lower hips, the
interior of the knee and for double chins. It is not advised for
patients with obesity.
The surgeon will not be able to
significantly reduce body mass. Indeed when a fatty cell is removed,
the next one can double in volume. Excess weight is a symptom of a
more general problem concerning the whole person, physically as well
as psychologically. It is a medical problem that must be addressed
under the supervision of a doctor who is adept at the constant
